Get a more in depth look into the makings of Home in a Hundred Places with my most recent interview on YouTube
I’m not going to lie, it sometimes still blows my mind when people reach out to me wanting to discuss my book, Home in a Hundred Places. When I set out to write my novel, I honestly did it more for myself and for my family, as a place we could all go to if we wanted to reminisce on some of our shared memories and beautiful stories. Yea of course, I wanted others to love the book also, but most importantly it was a way for me to preserve my father and our family’s history. So it’s always so special when readers contact me and want to discuss it even further.
I got the chance to sit down with Ardain Isma for his YouTube Channel, “The Conversation”. Ardain, who is a writer and professor hosts a variety of authors on his channel and for his latest episode, he hosted me! We talked about Home in a Hundred Places, how the story based on true life events took shape, and about my diverse cultural background.
